Denver Fashion Week presents a refreshed runway lineup and new city-wide events

Denver Fashion Week will return Nov. 7-14 with an updated slate of en vogue community events.

In the event release, AB Aharonian, DFW’s producer, provided an overview of the refreshed lineup:

“’This fall, we’re opening Denver Fashion Week with Streetwear & Sneakers for the first time and closing with the return of Couture, so the week truly spans every side of Colorado style,’ AB Aharonian said. ‘With our new home at Astra Point Event Center and the launch of Celebrate Denver Fashion Week, we’re bringing the energy beyond the runway and into the boutiques, salons, and restaurants that shape our city’s fashion scene all year long.’”

Event tickets start at $50 for the week’s seven runway shows, all taking place at the Astra Point Event Space. The Denver Fashion Week Team encourages those interested in attending to get their tickets early for the best prices and more guaranteed availability.

Each show begins with a red carpet, live DJed cocktail reception with opportunities to shop at pop-ups and enjoy a cash bar.

During this time, VIP ticket holders, who also receive first- and second-row seating, will have access to complimentary hors d’oeuvres, discounts at select pop-ups and a separate cash bar in the VIP lounge.

Below is the Denver Fashion Week schedule; attendees should note that doors open at the listed start time below and close an hour later with no late entry allowed.

  • 7 @ 7 p.m.- For the first time, the week begins with Streetwear & Sneakers. Guests are encouraged to come in their own streetwear to match the show’s sneaker-filled ensembles and collections.
  • 8 @ 3 p.m.- This is Family Day, a youth plus “Mommy & Me” runway event designed to give whole families confidence and a little creative fun.
  • 9 @ 6 p.m.- The Western & High Altitude Fashion Show debuts on this day, featuring a Western and mountain-style series of looks.
  • 10 @ 6 p.m.- Eco-conscious, high-fashion looks take over the runway for this sustainable show.
  • 11 @ 6 p.m.- The theme is maximalism; attendees can expect unapologetic creative work full of colors and textures.
  • 12 @ 6 p.m.- The runway will fill with designers’ takes on the theme of society, which will feature elevated, statement-making designs that represent culture, influence and the fashion world.
  • 14 @ 7 p.m.- Couture returns to the runway, bringing together detail, luxury and drama to close out the show with “a showcase of fashion as wearable art.”

This year, Denver Fashion Week will launch Celebrate Denver Fashion Week, an initiative allowing city residents to shop pop-ups, attend styling events, enjoy specials and more through related local businesses and restaurants.

DFW and 303 Magazine will offer an online guide to help community members prepare, and physical copies will be part of the event’s printed program.

Denver Fashion Week has become a fashion hub for an up-and-coming local industry and creatives with varied levels of experience. In 2018, it became Denver’s first official fashion week and has grown into the city’s largest fashion event.
