Jerel Anderson's suggestions might benefit spontaneous Coloradans and visitors who want to experience everything that Colorado has to offer.

Anderson, who is the owner of the Art District Event Center and a traveling tattoo artist, has not always lived in Colorado, but he said there are a couple of Colorado regions he seeks out and frequents whenever he can.

1. The Colorado Outdoors

Anderson described himself as an introvert whose favorite activities usually involve nature. He greatly appreciates that he has access to more natural locations in Colorado and enjoys visiting all of the ones he has found.

“Colorado is very, very, very great for the outdoors, so being in the mountains, experiencing the trees [and] the waterfalls, I try to go to every single waterfall, lake, creek and stuff like that that I can.”

2. Downtown Denver

Anderson’s favorite places to get food in Colorado are all located in Downtown Denver.

Anderson said he was born in Germany and raised in Atlanta, among other locations, and he finds variety important because of these past experiences. He likes that Downtown Denver offers numerous dining options with diverse menus.

“I would say as far as, like, food, I definitely love to go to Downtown Denver because they have a good variety. It's one of those things where you can stop in really anywhere and have yourself a good time.”
