Christmas Meal Guide 2025: Colorado organizations and businesses serving no-cost holiday fare

Note: All suggestions were found through promotions from organizations/businesses in Colorado on social media. No local publications were consulted or used to create this list.
Several local groups are serving up free holiday meals alongside festive community gatherings throughout Christmas week.
This list is not comprehensive. It does not include meal baskets, food assistance or more than a few delivery options. However, each recommendation is open to the public and free to attend.
Alamosa
Free Community Christmas Dinner, a local nonprofit, will host a dinner on Dec. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free photos with Santa will be available at the event, and attendees can also enter a drawing for bicycles that begins at 12:30 p.m.
Colorado Springs
Wackadoo Brewing will host a Christmas Feast on Dec. 25. Food will be served at 1 p.m., and bringing a dish is optional.
Durango
Manna Soup Kitchen will have a Community Christmas Brunch on Dec. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone in La Plata County is welcome to attend.
Those who cannot come during the event window to dine in or for grab-and-go pickup can request meal delivery on Manna’s event page.
Fairplay
Fairplay American Legion Post 172 will host their Annual Community Christmas Dinner on Dec. 25 from noon to 4 p.m.
According to the event post, attendees will also get to enjoy ornament and cookie decorating, a hot cocoa bar and toys given to the kids.
The event is open to everyone in Park County, and the Fairplay Shuttle will be available for those needing event transportation.
Fort Morgan
Unbound Courage and the Aasen Family are hosting their 4th Annual Community Christmas Dinner on Dec. 25 from noon to 2 p.m.
La Junta
Jay’s Community Christmas Dinner will take place on Dec. 25, starting at 11 a.m.
Montrose
Montrose Community Dinners will deliver free meals to homes on Christmas morning.
These can be ordered by calling 970-318-6724 or through the form on the organization’s website. Orders must be placed by noon on Dec. 24, and interested parties can order as many as they’d like.
Morrison
Morrison Holiday Bar is hosting a Christmas Day meal starting at 1 p.m.
Ridgway
In memory of Joshua Reynolds, his family will host a community holiday meal on Dec. 25 from noon to 5 p.m.
Steamboat Springs
Altitude Realtors will host a 2025 Realtor Community Christmas Dinner from 1 to 5 p.m. Take-home meal options will also be available.
